RLO is an easy-going, family-owned, local orthodontics office that Dr. Twomley and his wife, Amanda built from scratch. We take a personal interest in each patient that reaches out for help with their smile.

Expert Training
Dr. Tyler Twomley is a trained orthodontist. Orthodontists are dentists who spend additional years in school and training to gain specialized expertise in creating beautiful, healthy smiles. Out of 100 dental school graduates, on average, only six go on to become orthodontists.
To practice orthodontics, Dr. Twomley spent 10 years in training (four years of college, four years of dental school, and two years of orthodontics residency).
The orthodontic student spends three years learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and to guide facial development.

Gone are the days of painful headgear, clunky bands on every tooth, and overly tight stainless steel wires. Today's orthodontic treatment is much more comfortable than it used to be. This is because of shape-memory NiTi wires.
With the same technology that NASA uses, NiTi wires exert a continuous force against the teeth to move them in the right direction. This gets rid of the need for wire tightening. This means you spend less time in braces, and the time you do spend is more comfortable.
